The following staff will be on holiday during March:

We have a few new staff who we would like to welcome, Ms Nadia who joined Jolly Giraffes and Ms Umama who joined Marvellous Monkeys. Ms Sonia will return as Nursery Cook from Monday, 19th of March.

Unfortunately, we need to say goodbye to Ms Shaima this month. She has been with us for a year and 8 months and is ready to take the next step in her career as a Deputy Manager. Ms Shaima’s last day will be Friday, 23rd of March. We wish her all the best for the future!

Tapestry Care Diary

We have trialed the Care Diary available on Tapestry in some of the rooms over the last few weeks. We have received very good feedback and have decided to introduce it in both Under 2’s rooms as well as the Jolly Giraffes. Please note that the Care Diary does not replace daily verbal feedback. The information that you will receive will include their meals of the day, their sleep time and activities that they did. Under 2’s will also record times children have milk and nappy changes on Tapestry.

  • - Daily information is uploaded by Management and staff edit it during the day – they don’t need to leave the room or use time that can be spend with children
  • - Tablets can be kept in the room to give accurate feedback at the end of the day
  • - Anything other than the above, will still be verbally communicated
  • - Urgent needs, such as nappies, formula etc. will be communicated via the Care Diary
  • Benefits of the Care Diary:
  • - No need to remember a communication book from home
  • - Reduce the use of paper, printing and buying communication books
  • - Care Diaries will be made available to parents by 17:00 each day

Please continue to share your views regarding the Care Diary with us as it is a new system that we want to use and there may be some teething problems during start up.

Just a reminder to please inform us if your child will be on holiday and not attending Nursery.

Parent Questionnaires Feedback

We send out parent questionnaires during December. Thank you for all the wonderful feedback, as well as the areas that you feel we can still develop. Please see the attached document with some areas that we have identified to work on, as well as a clarification of areas that were unclear to parents.

We have send out our fee letter for April 2018. If you did not receive your email, please let me know as soon as possible. The reviewed fees are effective from 1 April 2018.

Kind Regards,

Ms Izette & the Zeeba team
